Faith Team
Collective worship is the unique heartbeat of a Church school and is offered as part of a wider opportunity for pupils and adults to encounter faith by engaging in conversations about God, both as individuals and together. (Church of England Guidance for collective worship (2021).
Our Faith Team strongly believes in promoting the school’s vision and Christian Values as part of our times of worship and are great role models to the rest of the school. We support our young leaders to flourish in their roles and members of the team represent their peers in issues connected to themes explored in, Religious Education, prayer and reflection times, Collective Worship and Church Services.
Our Faith Team is made up of two children from each class from Year 1 to Year 6. They are led by Mrs Carr. We hold Faith Team meetings where we discuss our activities and plan for future projects and discuss worship. We strongly believe in pupils having a voice and encourage the children to think of their own ideas and how to promote our school values.
Our Faith Team have strong links to our vision and will lead collective worship in their class and bring their class stone to the cairn in whole school worship. They embody the vision and ethos of our school!
